Their platform allows users to manage and automate sprinkler schedules via mobile devices or desktop, using real-time weather data, plant profiles, and soil conditions. Their mission is to reduce water waste and support sustainable landscaping.

Background
The client sought to evolve their smart irrigation product by introducing new features and expanding support to a broader audience. Their existing system allowed users to control watering schedules remotely, but needed to accommodate internationalization and more complex hardware integrations.

The challenge
To scale their offering, the platform needed to support multi-language functionality and integrate third-party sensors that could feed data into the system in real time. The challenge was to build these new capabilities while maintaining app performance and backend stability.

The solution
Mission.dev assembled a cross-platform engineering team to work on both frontend and backend systems. The backend was developed in Java, with the mobile apps built natively for iOS and Android. The team implemented multi-language support, optimized the frontend UI, and enabled integration with third-party IoT sensors for more precise environmental input.
