Background
The client set out to launch a B2B charter bus marketplace tailored to the operational demands of group travel. The goal was to build a scalable platform that could support not just transportation services, but expand into tourism offerings like hotel bookings and guided trips.
The challenge
Scope expanded significantly throughout the engagement, with new service lines and feature requests introduced mid-development. The challenge was to support this rapid evolution without sacrificing momentum or introducing instability. Mission.dev needed to deliver high-velocity iteration while maintaining architectural coherence.
The solution
Mission.dev assembled a full-stack team of nine, including backend, frontend, product, and design talent. As the project grew, the team was dynamically restructured into three specialized squads, each responsible for a distinct area of the platform. This approach enabled seamless delivery of new features, including hotel booking and e-journey modules, without disrupting core development.
Led by technical lead Siamak Sartipi, the team prioritized knowledge continuity and ensured a smooth handoff to the client’s internal developers. Domain-specific expertise from Mission.dev also played a critical role in aligning the platform with market needs and supporting strategic pivots with confidence.
