Mission Description
Background
As first-time founders, Teleport faced difficulty in attracting and hiring senior technical talent. Just as they found product-market fit, the COVID-19 pandemic hit, causing their demand to skyrocket. Their platform couldn’t handle the sudden surge in demand, prompting them to turn to Mission for help in quickly scaling up robustly.
The Challenge
Teleport collaborated with Mission to handpick the perfect senior technical talent, forming a team that included a Team Lead, Technical Leads for web and mobile development, and two developers. This team addressed Teleport’s needs in front-end React, back-end NodeJS, third-party integrations, and AWS infrastructure (CloudFront, RDS, ECS, & Fargate). Working with Teleport’s technical co-founder, we achieved strong velocity, stabilizing and scaling the platform.
The Solution
With a robust and growing platform, Teleport successfully raised their next funding round and fully embraced the Mission model. Mission enabled Teleport to access senior talent and a broad network of technology experts to support their teams in complex challenges.
